Join our 8-day intimate group retreat

Meet us @ The Source, Koh Phangan, Thailand
October 5th - 12th, 2024

In Power, On Purpose is a potent 8-day immersion for Activating Inspired Leadership. We are convening a small group of world builders who are ready to ground expanded vision into real-world creation.

To be inspired means to be “in Spirit”: Inspired Leadership is activated when true Power meets higher Purpose. True Power is the energy that’s available when personal will aligns with Universal will. Higher Purpose is the direction that’s revealed as we serve both personal and collective benefit.

This is not a typical retreat, because it is not about going on a yoga holiday to escape and recover from the stresses of everyday life. There will be plenty of space for rest, nourishment and meaningful connection; yet the opportunity we are offering here goes way beyond giving you a break from life. We are here to initiate you in making a breakthrough in your life.

In other words, we’re not retreating, we’re advancing! In this week-long group journey, we aim to integrate spiritual wisdom into material form with practices, tools, and community.

Our Shared Values

As inspired leaders, we surf our personal evolutionary edge to show up in service to humanity. This retreat is designed for you if you desire to bring greater consciousness into how you contribute, as well as what you create. Our aim is to:

  • Grow self-mastery and at-will access to the felt sense of non-dual reality

  • Recognize individual gifts and claim ownership of our uniqueness

  • Expand capacity to receive and act confidently on intuitive guidance

  • Embody true abundance frequency, unhooked from resource accumulation

  • Refine purpose navigation through devotional decision making

  • Develop an unshakable sense of being on purpose regardless of form

Our Shared Path

On our shared path to power and purpose, we draw from the ancient wisdom of non-dual spiritual teachings, alongside a modern, paradigm-shifting perspective on awakened living and working, known as Regenerative Purpose.

  • Asana, pranayama, and mantra as pathways to non-dual experience

  • Mythology and sacred texts as windows into universal wisdom

  • Meditation and contemplation to develop capacity for inner knowing

  • Self-inquiry to deconstruct inner narratives and personal limitations

  • Voice activations, somatic inquiry, authentic movement and inner journeys

  • Group exercises for practical application to real-world purpose work

Your Guides

Wendy May

Wendy is a purpose coach, land stewardess, writer and author of the book Regenerative Purpose, which reveals purpose as a dynamic, interdependent process of nature. The eldest child and daughter of Chinese-Taiwanese immigrant parents, born and educated in the USA, she has been based in Thailand since 2018. Wendy is a Harvard University graduate with a master’s degree in business from UCLA Anderson. She is also schooled in both Eastern and Western esoteric wisdom traditions — as a certified Tao Tantra teacher and Enneagram Institute trained facilitator. Wendy has experienced direct access to Source energy and insights via multiple paths, including total darkness meditation and medicine work. Her greatest desire for humanity is for each one of us to be fully expressed in our uniqueness, as we nourish ecosystems of exchange that are both life-giving and life-affirming.

Julie Moksim

Julie has been a dedicated student and practitioner of yoga for more than 20 years, and an instructor and guide of its teachings for over 13 years. Yoga has been her calling into a life's work that has taken her to Laos, Myanmar and Singapore to inspire and empower others through the building of communities, studio spaces and immersive retreat containers. Always staying true to yoga as a spiritual path, first and foremost, Julie facilitates its physical and energetic practices in a way that takes you to the heart of your Truth. She is a global citizen who has lived in seven countries since birth, and values this as a gift, and in return, a responsibility to humanity. She advocates for the dissolution of separation in the way that we live, through the inner work that allows us to experience ourselves as Whole. Her greatest desire for humanity is for each of us to know the capacity of our infinite potential, and to live the life that is longing for itself.

Common Questions

What background or experience is required?

It is helpful if you have at least beginner-level experience with yoga and meditation, and some exposure to spiritual philosophy from any tradition or lineage. While we will have movement every day, our focus here is developing strength and flexibility of mind, rather than strength and flexibility of the body.

Where We Gather

Koh Phangan is a small island nestled in the Gulf of Thailand, perhaps most well-known for its full moon party. It has also grown into a global mecca for personal and spiritual development. Amidst the natural beauty of beaches, waterfalls and lush jungle greenery, a vibrant international community of practitioners have transformed it into a hub for many paths and modalities, both ancient and modern. It is a seeker’s paradise with opportunities to explore many facets of health, healing and holistic living.

The Source is a nature-based retreat center on Koh Phangan. Its hillside perch offers beautiful, sweeping sunset views, with a local’s favorite waterfall just a short walk away. Originally a coconut and fruit farm producing durian, mangos and rambutan, it hosts many rare and beautiful plants in its gardens.
